Arduino Nano is a small, compatible, flexible and breadboard friendly Microcontroller board, developed by Arduino.cc in Italy, based on ATmega328p ( Arduino Nano V3.x) / Atmega168 ( Arduino Nano V3.x). It comes with exactly the same functionality as in Arduino UNO but quite in small size.
They are acted as input pins when they are interfaced with sensors, but if you are driving some load then use them as output. Functions like pinMode() and digitalWrite() are used to control the operations of digital pins while analogRead() is used to control analog pins. The analog pins come with a total resolution of 10bits which measure the value from zero to 5V.
Arduino was born at the Ivrea Interaction Design Institute as an easy tool for fast prototyping, aimed at students without a background in electronics and programming. As soon as it reached a wider community, the Arduino board started changing to adapt to new needs and challenges, differentiating its offer from simple 8-bit boards to products for IoT applications, wearable, 3D printing, and embedded environments. The software, too, is open-source, and it is growing through the contributions of users worldwide.
There are only few devices, which must be soldered on the board. The most complicated and time consuming operation is the cutting of the pin headers. I bought in eBay 40 pin 2.54 mm female headers, which I cut according the needed pin count. For that purpose I use small jigsaw and after that sandpaper.
